Creating Opportunities Together

The Sonoma County Library Foundation is an independent nonprofit organization founded in 1986 to augment public funds in support of our Sonoma County Library system.  SCLF expands and enhances Sonoma County Library resources and services – always free and accessible for all – through fundraising, outreach, and advocacy.

Together we’re building a 21st century library in Roseland

The construction process for the new Roseland Regional Library has begun, with the grand opening scheduled for March 2027.

This splendid new space is a true 21st century project and will serve as a model for library modernizations throughout Sonoma County. Its 12,475 square feet of indoor space and 3,000 square feet of programmable outdoor space offers distinct areas for children, youth, and adults.

The Sonoma County Library Foundation is raising $3.6 million to provide the collection, furniture, fixtures, and equipment, bringing the inside of this new library alive. With $2.9 million already raised, $700,000 is still needed to meet our goal by the June 30, 2027 deadline.

The Campaign Honor Roll

We gratefully acknowledge the generosity of our donors who have already joined our Campaign for Roseland. We invite you to add your name to this distinguished roll call of individuals and institutions who have already made a deeply personal commitment to literacy and education in our community.
